Heart, by Gail Godwin

For an author so well known, this one seems to have slipped under the radar. I didn't so much care that there wasn't a "point" to the examination of the heart as a symbol, no big grand conclusion to all her research and essays. It's an imperfect but lovely little book. Sad and beautiful. We're just humans!
